Convenient and Quiet Beach Living

Crystal Lake Mobile Home Village

Crystal Lake Mobile Home Village opened in 1972. The 377 homesites surround a majestic 40-acre lake. Conveniently located and easily accessible from both Highway 17 Business and Highway 544, Crystal Lake is in unincorporated Horry County. Residents enjoy a quiet neighborhood adjacent to Lakewood Elementary School, and only a few miles from Socastee High School.

One of the oldest and largest mobile home communities, Crystal Lake Mobile Home Village was named by the Jackson daughters. Astrology was popular at the time thus street names such as Aquarius, Pisces, and Aries were used. The lake was dug to help level and build the sites for Ocean Lakes Family Campground and Crystal Lake Mobile Home Village.

Crystal Lake Mobile Home Village has a strong reputation and therefore it generally has a waiting list of hopeful residents. Most of the homes brought into the park are new. Those that are not new must be inspected by management and can’t be more than five years old to be considered. Back in the early days, mobile homes were usually 12’ wide and about 60’ long. Today doublewide homes tend to measure approximately 16′ x 80′ feet and we can accommodate most.
